Imagine how boring school must have been for her!

For the record.  They didn't differentiate the curriculum to meet her obvious needs.  The only provision they made in Kindergarten was in term 3 the teacher gave her lined paper to write her stories on. In year 1 the teacher took her lined paper away.

They taught my daughter the alphabet when she could already read fluently.  They taught her blending sounds when she had been assessed at high school level with 95% comprehension.  By Year 3 she suffered a severe depression as a result of her treatment and neglect.  When I complained my entire family was targeted and victimised and it hasn't stopped as the system sets out and goes out of its way to present my children as not as smart as say they are and me as a crazy pushy parent.

Katie's Kindergarten writing

Here is my daughters story, written at school, that formed part of my daughters half yearly school portfolio.  Katie was in Kindergarten and aged 5.  If you haven't already read it, hope you enjoy it!

In term three in Kindergarten the teacher gave my daughter lined paper to write her stories on.  In Year 1 the teacher took it away and made her write on blank butcher paper because she believed that Year 1 students were not ready to write on line paper.  My daugher felt she was going backwards at school.
